2025 Fund Run

The Fund Run is Burlington Elementary’s largest annual fundraiser. On October 17, our Trailblazers will run laps, cheer each other on, and have a blast—all while raising money for paraprofessional staff, field trip transportation, free community events, teacher appreciation, classroom supplies, and more. Last year, we raised over $21,000, and we can do it again this year!

Find your student’s page by searching their first name here. Please return your packet & all pledges to school on or before Tuesday, Oct 21.

Fund Run Results are in!  Together, we raised $25,549.25 for Burlington Elementary, which goes toward paraprofessional staff, field-trip transportation, free community events, staff appreciation, classroom supplies, and more.  And because you all did such a great job and beat our goal, Mr. Novak will get silly stringed at Friday’s Halloween party which starts at 2:30pm!  Students also earned class-wide prizes at the giveaway during first trimester’s FLAME ceremony – more details coming soon.

Sponsorship Information

Stargazer $150 – A special acknowledgement in our school’s weekly newsletter

Explorer $250 – Includes the above plus a logo on the event banner at the school

Voyager $500 – Includes all of the above plus a logo on the race-day t-shirt

Trailblazer $1,000 – Includes all of the above plus an ad in the school yearbook

We’re also seeking donations of goods to be used as prizes in our giveaway. We welcome items such as gift certificates, attraction tickets, toys, games, and craft kits. The value of in-kind donations qualifies for the same benefits as monetary sponsorship, and all donated prizes will be featured in our prize pool announcements prior to the event.

To earn participation, each student will raise as little as $1 for our school!

School-wide Prizes

  • 50% Participation – Every student is entered into a school-wide prize giveaway!
  • 75% Participation – Mr. Novak gets silly stringed on Halloween!
  • $10,000 – Students earn a hallway dance party
  • $18,000 – Class-wide prizes are added to the giveaway!
  • $21,000 (GOAL) – Every class gets an ice cream party!

Individual Prizes

  • Every student gets a free t-shirt on the day of the Fund Run!
  • $50 individual ($75 family) raised – Burlington Elem slap bracelet
  • $100 individual raised – Teacher Time! Get excited for some options such as Piggy and Elephant Breakfast Bash, Swim at the Rec Center, Fun With Rabbits, and making slime.
  • Top Earner and Most Pledges from each grade get to silly string Mr. Novak on Halloween!

Day of Schedule & Volunteers – Fri, Oct 17

8:15 AM – Community Coffee Cart – Come to drop off early to have a coffee and chat with other parents. It’s a great way to get to know others in the community and PTO.

11:45 AM-12:30 PM – Kindergarten & 5th grade run
