Here are just some of the ways you can volunteer your time to our teachers and students this year:
One-time Events:
We need help with the FundRun!

We need help getting folders ready, ordering prizes, organizing prizes for handout to the students, day of setup and support, and counting the money!
Parent Teacher Conference Meal Coordination:
We are looking for volunteers to assist with food preparation, set up, and clean up for the upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences. It’s simple – just sign up for a slot on your preferred day of the week. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Setting up the meal at 3pm in the art room
- Bringing an appetizer, entree, dessert, or paper plates by 3pm on your chosen day. Whether it’s homemade or store-bought, it’s all good!
- Cleaning up the meal at 6:45pm
Estamos buscando voluntarios para ayudar con la preparación de alimentos, la organización y la limpieza para las próximas Conferencias de Padres y Maestros. Es sencillo: solo inscríbete para un turno en el día de la semana que prefieras. Las oportunidades de voluntariado incluyen:
- Organizar la comida a las 3 p.m. en el salón de arte
- Traer un aperitivo, plato principal, postre o platos de papel antes de las 3 p.m. en el día elegido. ¡Ya sea casero o comprado, está bien!
- Limpiar después de la comida a las 6:45 p.m.

Classroom Support and School Support:
If you’re available to pitch in on a more regular basis our teachers can always use an extra hand both in AND out of the classroom. Support a reading group weekly/monthly, make copies and sharpen pencils, prepare Thursday folders or even put together book orders from home. Giving just a few minutes every week can free up a teacher’s time so they can better focus on our kids! Reach out to you student’s teacher today for classroom volunteer opportunities

Si está disponible para colaborar con más regularidad, nuestros profesores siempre pueden necesitar una mano extra tanto dentro como fuera del aula. Apoyar a un grupo de lectura semanal/mensualmente, hacer fotocopias y sacar punta a lápices, preparar carpetas de los jueves o incluso armar pedidos de libros desde casa. ¡Dar solo unos minutos cada semana puede liberar tiempo de un maestro para que pueda concentrarse mejor en nuestros hijos! PTO Membership: We Need Board Members
You can get involved on a larger scale by joining one of our Committees/becoming a Program Coordinator or taking on a Board Position. Many of these jobs can be done mostly from home, too! If you have a little more time to give and would like to be an integral part of our parent organization, email president@burlingtonpto.com to join our board!
